Thank you to all competitors that competed in this years Warwick Pentath-run. You were apart of record numbers for this event with 547 competitors. Congratulations to Stephen Courtney 2hr 36min 19sec and Ange Castle 3hr 05min 03sec who took out the fastest Male and Female for the Pentath (all 5 races). Well done to Ian Perrin and Georgie Stewaert that took out the Southern Downs Regional Council Resident Pentath winners.

Welcome to the Warwick Pentath-Run website.

On the 21st and 22nd of May 2011 the 9th annual Pentath-run will be held. For the last 8 years the event has got bigger and better with fantastic weather, excellent participation and last year the introduction of microchip timing (& again this year). This has made this event one for everyones running calander. As per last year all events will be held at the same locations but introducing some new sponser of each race.

Saturday

  1. Warwick Credit Union Half Marathon - 21.1km
  2. Downs Radio 89.3 "X" country - 4.6km
  3. Darling Downs Hotel - 5km

Saturday Night

  • Red Rooster Awards Dinner/Presentation

Sunday

  1. Wickham Freight Lines Ascent - 10km
  2. NRCHI Bodywork 1500m Criterium

New for 2011

  • Venue/Hub - Warwick Indoor Recreation & Aquatic Centre (Palmerin st) to collect race pack and start of 21.1km race. WIRAC has toilets and shower if needed.
  • Electronic timing for all 5 races.

The five races of the Warwick Pentath-Run are all held within the shire of Warwick, two hours south-west of Brisbane, along the Cunningham Highway.  The "Hub" of this event is the Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre (WIRAC).  Click here for maps on how to get to Warwick.

Warwick is a thriving regional centre where majestic sandstone buildings, grand homestead and colonial cottages merge gracefully with contemporary living.  Warwick is famous for its variety of Horsepower events and now the Warwick Pentath-run.
